Criminal infringements to intellectual and industrial property should be reported at:

• The closest police unit
• The relevant Public Prosecutor’s Office
• Any court with criminal jurisdiction

It should be noted that the Investigations Police (Policiá de Investigaciones, PDI) contains a department specialized in the prosecution of crimes against intellectual and industrial property, known as the Intellectual Property Crimes Investigation Unit (Brigada Investigadora de Delitos de Propiedad Intelectual, BRIDEPI) and the Carabineros de Chile contains a specialized body of experts within its crime lab (LABOCAR).
